The meeting is organised by the RSC Colloid and Interface Science Group and the SCI Colloid and Surface Chemistry Group.

A forum for sharing new results and ideas in experimental and theoretical suspension mechanics, with an emphasis on the physical properties and processing behaviour of colloidal suspensions; upon work aimed at changing the way we approach process design, scale-up, optimisation and control and which enables novel processes. The practical motivation for the meeting is the enormous importance of suspension and fine-particle processing in the manufacturing industries, in water-treatment, oil, coal and gas production, in mining and minerals processing and biotechnology.

The Venue

The conference will be held at Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge.
